Petr Prochazka founded his workshop in Prague in1995 while still
a student at the Secondary Trade School of Musical Instrument 
Manufacturing in Luby u Chebu. 
In conjunction with his part time studies he completed a practicum
in Cheb under master guitar maker Josef Kubla.

  His initial production primarily consisted of standard steel stringmodels; 
later, he began to make classical nylon string guitars
as well.
In 1999 he began to develop jazz guitar models in cooperation
with Jaroslav Šindler, leading jazz guitarist and teacher
at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory. 
  His product line expanded to include electric guitars and bass
guitars when he began to work with Petr Grötzbach in 2001.
 
  Petr Grötzbach began by producing acoustic guitars and later ran
a musical instrument shop.
